The Women Without Fear w/Lauren Francisco (Part 2) Leading & Stepping Out into the Unknown to Reach Your Goals
Lauren and I talk about apartheid in part 2 of our podcast. If you missed part 1 click here to catch up.
South Africa has a unique history with apartheid and legal oppression only ending a little over two decades ago. According to recent study, one in three of South African residents suffer from mental illness, with a great majority being the result of experiencing, participating, or being affected by travesties, which resulted from decades of continuous neglect and abuse. The public school systems within Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal are overcrowded and underfunded, which has led to a resurgence of massive truancy, grade repeating, and illiteracy.
In comic book lore there is Daredevil, the man without fear who uses all his senses to transform his city. This podcast will introduce you to Lauren Francisco, somewhat of a Daring Angel, who is using all of her senses to live life to the fullest and transform whatever part of the world she happens to be in at the time.

“Fear stifles our thinking and actions. It creates indecisiveness that results in stagnation. I have known talented people who procrastinate indefinitely rather than risk failure. Lost opportunities cause erosion of confidence, and the downward spiral begins.” Charles Stanley
